We offer a friendly, nurturing environment that encourages students to recognize their strengths and build on them for life-long learning.At Monarch, students and faculty interact on a particularly high aesthetic level. This provides opportunities for kids to express themselves and provides opportunities for kids to celebrate the things that make them unique. Monarch’s music students work energetically in class and enjoy great musicmaking. Their teachers (who are also active professionally performing musicians) encourage both excellence in performance and instudents’ individual developments as musicians and human beings. Close cooperation among sections gives students broad musical opportunities.Faculty and Resource Highlights- All 5 teachers are professionally performing musicians and dedicated public school educators- All the faculty serve at least two schools in the Boulder Valley School District- Advanced Placement-trained faculty- 80% of faculty hold graduate degrees in their fields
