The Choir Department has 5 different groups that focus on choral and performing skills, ensemble techniques and all styles of music under the direction of Brian du Fresne (brian.dufresne@bvsd.org). The major groups are:

Treble Choir
This group is composed of freshman women learning basic choral skills, techniques and performs a broad range of musical styles.
Chaos Choir
All grades can participate in this men's "after school" group. Their focus is to learn basic skills and techniques while performing pop, rock and jazz music.

Concert Choir
Concert Choir is a mixed group of men and women, grades 9 - 12 who are considered a "concert and show" group. This is a general choir performing upbeat music.

Chamber Choir
10th, 1th and 12th grade woman comprise the Chamber Choir. Their focus is music for elite ensembles, leaning advanced techniques and perform a broad scope of musical styles. You are required to audition for this group.
Madrigals
Madrigals is a very small, select group representing MHS in the community through performance. Your are required to audition for this group.
