When preparing a works-cited page, arrange the books in alphabetical order by the author's last name or if there is no author, by the first important word in the title. Electronic sources must have an author, or if not, use the first important word in the title to use for alphabetical order and parenthetical citations. Indent second and all following lines. Do not number your entries. All entries end with a period. Italics should be used to indicate titles of books, magazines, newspapers, etc. In writing, indicate italics by underlining.
