Grading Policy

Grading Policy: BVSD standards based:

  • PPP (practice, prep and participation) 10%, in class work solo and group)
  • Formative quizzes and projects 35% (. Over readings and lectures, some in class projects, solo/group and graded discussions)
  • Summative exams and unit tests 55%  (multiple choice & FRQ’s)
  • Final exam will be cumulative and both multiple choice and free response. Save class notes all semester to study.

   Grades will be posted using the program Infinite Campus, monitoring them is a student responsibility.  

 
RULES of Thumb
1. "Let It Be" Let the teacher teach and people learn. Violators will be dealt with harshly: discipline reports to admin & parents 2. "Drain & Fill" on your own time, not mine. Eat & potty before class, not during 3. "Exceed Normal" Go beyond your normal. Give 104%.
