Kindergarten News 

The year is flying by.  Here are a few reminders to help your child be a successful kindergartener!

Classroom volunteers are very important and needed.  There is a sign up sheet by the kindergarten door.  Please have a look and chose a time that works for you. We do ask that siblings stay home during parent volunteer time.

Please remember to label your child's belongings like backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles and coats.  It is time to send winter gear with your child.

Snack time lasts about ten minutes, so please pack an easy item for your child to eat, so food so not wasted.

We love to celebrate birthdays!  On your child's special day, you may send in a simple treat for us to share (23) during snack time.  Give me a call as the day approaches and we can work out the details.

Gym is on Thursdays and every other Monday.

Music is on Wednesday and every other Monday.

Art is on Tuesday.

Library and book checkout is on Friday.  Checked out books are due the following Friday.

We start school at 9:00 am on Wednesdays.  If you could have your child to school by 8:50 we can go directly to music and be there at 9:00am.

"Friday Folders" will be sent home with your child every Friday.  It contains important news from our classroom and school.  I will also include a brief newsletter on a bimonthly basis to let you know what we have been up to and to update you on upcoming events.  Please return the folder on Mondays.

If you have a note to send, please pin them to your child's clothes. Sometimes students forget the note if it is in their backpack.  If your child is in Kindergarten Enrichment in the morning, Miss Patty will send the note onto me.
