Preschool Fun

Caribou Mountain Preschoolers have been busy!  We are working on art projects and learning how to recognize our names, and our friends names too!  We are dancing and singing and banging on Ms. Irene's drum!  We made applesauce and muffins!  We made spiders and put them on a big web.  Come check out our artwork in the preschool hall. 

Some Preschool Reminders:

Please send weather appropriate clothes.  We play outside almost every day. Children need mittens, hats, boots, snow pants and snow jackets when it is cold.

In order to keep little feet dry, boots are not allowed in the classroom.  Please send your child to school with indoor shoes when they wear boots.  Indoor shoes can stay at school throughout the winter.

Please have a look in your child's Friday Folder on Fridays and return it on Tuesday, or as soon as possible.

Tuition Lottery 

Caribou Mountain Preschool is located in Nederland Elementary School.  We offer a half day and a full day program.  Our classes are led by licensed, experienced staff using the nationally recognized Creative Curriculum.  We teach pre-literacy and pre-math in a play based environment.  Our program is open to three and four year olds.  

Applications for the Caribou Mountain Preschool tuition lottery for the 2012/13 school year, will be accepted from November 28th through January 18th, 2013.  The application is available at www.bvsd.org, under the preschool tab.  Families that have been selected through the lottery will be notifed in February.  Tuition assistance is available for those who qualify.  

Caribou Mountain does participate in the Colorado Preschool Program - which is free preschool for families who qualify.  Please contact Kristi at 720-561-4833 for more information.
