MEET OUR TEACHERS!

Ana Cox

Ana grew up in Torreon, Coahuila Mexico.  She came to the United States 14 years ago.  Ever since she was a young girl, Ana knew she wanted to be a teacher.  She got her teaching license in Elementary Education four years ago from the University of Colorado.  Ana enjoys teaching first grade because she loves to see the children grow academically and emotionally throughout the school year.

Ana enjoys being with her immediate family in her free time.  She also loves to read and watch movies.  Her mother and sisters live in Mexico and she returns every December and summer to visit them.

Chris Mueller

Chris comes from a Foreign Service family and grew up outside of the United States, until she went to university.  She has a B.A. in Geology and Anthropology from the University of Colorado and an M.S. in Geology from the University of Wyoming.  After many years as a volunteer and tutor at Pioneer, Chris decided helping children learn was her true passion.   She got her teaching license three years ago and has enjoyed teaching first grade at Pioneer ever since.

Chris loves to travel, read and hike.  She is the proud mom of two amazing girls and two lovable, clumsy cats.
