Sanchez Elementary

Alicia Sanchez Elementary School, a fully authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program School, integrates BVSD curriculum and the IB program, providing students with a rich learning experience focusing on inquiry, student action and character education. Our students are receiving the benefits of a wide range of programming resources such as small class sizes; small-group instruction for reading, writing and math; intervention and extension instruction opportunities; after-school tutoring and homework help; plus numerous after-school enrichment opportunities through our Dragon Discovery program and on-site after school care.  A priority for our school is providing a variety of options for family involvement including volunteering, PTA, Parent Leadership Group, and School Improvement Team.  Alicia Sanchez Elementary is a warm, nurturing neighborhood school where everyone--students, parents, staff and community-- join together, making a difference for our students.
