Our Preschool offers an exceptional program for children ages 3 and 4 who are not yet age eligible for Kindergarten. A child must reach his or her fifth birthday on or before September 30th to be eligible for Kindergarten enrollment.
Classes are half-day and follow BVSD’s school-year calendar. Highly trained teachers help children develop in four critical areas:
Social and emotional learning
Physical development and motor skills
Cognitive development
Language and literacy development
…all in a fun, active classroom setting at Alicia Sanchez Elementary School!

We have both morning and afternoon classes for preschool students. The morning session goes from 8:00 am to 10:45 am. The afternoon session goes from 11:45 am to 2:40 pm. All classes are from Tuesday through Friday, with Mondays off.

Nicole Krosnowski
I graduated from the College of Charleston in South carolina inn May of 2009 with my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I love seeing the smile on a student's face when they accomplish a goal or are proud of their work. Hearing "I love you" and hugs are always nice too. I live in Denver & have a black lab named Parker. I enjoy running, yoga, hiking & watching football.
Soledad Perez
I am a native from Lafayette I was born in Boulder, and grew up in Lafayette, I also knew Alicia Sanchez during my childhood life. She was well known through our community, would support migrant workers, and other low income families with health, education, food, and provide transportation to families that would need it.
I enjoy working at Sanchez because; I can give back to our families and their children what was given to me as a child.
Cathy Mager

I love learning and I love that my students are so curious and eager to learn. I love teaching preschool because my students learn in so many different ways. I think that teaching preschool is a special gift because I am often the 1st school setting that a child is introduced to. I also get to see children grow and learn throughout their elementary years.
My son Isaiah attends Sanchez and loves it. He is awesome and we are so lucky to be so close to each other here at Sanchez.
Isaiah and I love to read children's books, we love to go see new movies in 3D, and we love to go to the park and play. Almost anything that we do together is interesting to us.
