 Stacey Mandel

I graduated from the University of Colorado, MA in Education; National Board Certified in Literacy I love sharing the "a-ha!" moments with children when they discover something new(especially about reading I love spending time with my family.

I have a 1 year old nephew who is already fascinated by books and smiles all the time.  Other family members include my parents, brother, sister-in-law, and all the family dogs.  The highest compliment you can get in my family is to be called "a good dog."

I love running, hiking and spending lots of time outside. My inside hobbies are reading and cooking.

E.S.L.

Christy Bouldin

My name is Christy Bouldin and I feel very lucky to be teaching at Sanchez. What we do here for kids is amazing! The teacher collaboration, climate, and the students make me enjoy coming to school each day. I can’t imagine doing anything else as a career. As a person who needs to stay busy, teaching keeps me motivated and happy. This is my 13th year of teaching in the primary grades and teaching English and Reading are my passion.

I am fortunate to live in two places every year. My fiancé and I are building a cabin in the woods on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska.  We spend long summer days fishing for salmon and halibut, dodging moose on the trails, and listening to loons on the lake. We both love Colorado, as Alaskan winters are long, and commit to the sunnier days here during most of the year.

I am looking forward to my wedding in August here in Colorado. Alaska was a little far for guests to attend, so we chose something a little more convenient for traveling!

My southern accent will tell you that I’m not a Colorado native. I was born and raised in a small Virginia town where you knew practically everyone. My parents and brother still reside there. After I graduated from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA I made a big move to the wide open spaces of Jackson Hole, WY and fell in love with the mountains. I won’t go back home! My free time is spent hiking, fishing, skiing, walking my dog, reading and enjoying the mountain air. I love the lifestyle here and it makes me a better person.

Eda Leptich

Eda has four different endorsements: Preschool, Elementary Ed., Special Ed. and E.S.L. Besides loving the outdoors Eda is an avid distance runner.  She is Mom to three kids that all attended B.V.S.D. schools.

Tiffany Roby is our OT here at Sanchez, Alisha Romero, our speech specialist, and Demian Mesa- Hall is our school psychologist.

Alisha Romero
I graduated with my bachelors degree from the University of New Mexico and my masters degree from the University of Colorado.  My bachelors degree is in Speech and Hearing Sciences and my masters degree is in Speech-Language Pathology.

My favorite thing about teaching is watching children progress in their knowledge and developing confidence as a result of their accomplishments.

I do not have children yet but my siblings and parents live in New Mexico.
I have a dog named Douglas and he is like a child.

I enjoy outdoor activities like snowboarding, rock climbing, and running.  I also enjoy going home to see my family to play with my nieces and nephews.

Tiffany Roby
“A child’s work is play”

I grew up in a small town called Paradise in Northern CA, but have found Colorado to be my true “Paradise”. I received my Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, NE and have worked in a variety of settings. I first started my O.T. career in a private pediatric clinic in CA, specializing in sensory processing/integration and have enjoyed working in the school setting for the past 9 years. I love children and feel very blessed to have a job where I get to play every day! You will find me with paint, markers, or clay on my clothing, but I will always have a big smile on my face. I truly believe a child’s work is play and I always try to incorporate play into my therapy sessions. As an Occupational Therapist, I support students when movement (motor) skills interfere with their ability to participate in school and classroom activities such as self-care, writing, PE, art and music. Therapists help students improve specific skills or help students adapt to classroom demands. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two engaging and energetic boy, Caleb(4 years) and Max(12 months). We have two beautiful hukies who keep us walking and hiking on a daily basis. We also love snow skiing, cycling and swimming.

Demian Mesa- Hall
