The 2011-2012 Cougar Challenge

What is the Cougar Challenge?

The Cougar Challenge is our only fundraising event for the year.  It is a direct donation campaign to make your contribution easy and effective.  100% of your donation goes directly to your child’s education.

We believe that this direct donation format provides a more equitable and responsible fundraising effort.  It allows families to contribute directly to their school in a meaningful manner.

SHMS is an award winning school with a staff dedicated to helping students develop their potential academically and socially. 

Your Donations Fund:

• Classroom Mini-Grants
• Diversity Day and History Day
• Computer and Art Supplies
• Guest Speakers
• Teacher Appreciation Events
• Grade Level Field Trips
• Needs of the Music/Band/Orchestra Depts.
• Improvements to Common Areas
• Social Events for Students
• The New Climbing Wall (installed in March of 2010)

How can you help us meet the challenge?

 Our goal for the 2011-2012 school year is $45,000 with 100% participation. 

SHMS PTO is a 501c(3) tax exempt organization, 100% of your contribution is tax deductible.

We also accept corporate matching funds from your employer.  Please inquire with your company.
