Superior Elementary Student Council

Student Council is made up of a student leadership group:  President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.  This group  leads our Student Council.  The rest of the council is made up of 4th and 5th grade representatives who are the voices for all the other classes in the school.  Mr. Lehman and Mrs. Sanders are the teacher advisors.  Student Council is responsible for creating and maintaining programs that will make our school a better place.

 Student Council Showcase
By Mr. Lehman

Each month, Student Council will conduct a school service project.  We'd like to show our school spirit and leadership skills by doing something to give back to this wonderful place we attend each week. In November 14-18, we had a Playground Cleanup day! Students were encouraged to spend their recesses cleaning up the playground and making our school cleaner! In December 5-8, we had a Help a Teacher week! Many kids spent recesses and S.S.R time to help their teacher by cleaning up closets,  sharpening pencils, and more! In our next meeting, we will brainstorm ideas for the next Showcase week! We can't wait to see how we can improve our school next!
We wake up every morning, get to school at 7:00, and spend our Friday mornings making sure your ideas will be heard... Now that's Student Council.

Student Council Updates
By:Sophie Kelly
Hello Superior students, family, and staff! The student council has been working hard and have some new updates! On Nov. 18, kids can get cozy and come to school in their pajamas! On the same day, students are also allowed to wear their hats. This week is what Student Council has been promoting called a Showcase Week. Students are encouraged to clean up around the playground and the school. On  Dec. 5 through 9, Showcase spirit will continue on Help- a -Teacher Week. Throughout the week, students will schedule times with teachers around the school and spend a recess or S.S.R. helping the teacher in any way. By the way, the Student Council t-shirts are ordered and should be coming in soon.

We wake up and get to school to make sure we can report and collect your ideas, now that's Student Council.
