Curricular News
Our January 2012 projects:

• We are revising our Expository essays.  Students are looking for areas to add setting, characterization, sensory language, and theme.  We will share these memoir with classmates.
• Student are learning how to read for important information, supporting details, and author's purpose.  All these skills they will use to write high-quality summaries. 
• Depending on the math class, students are learning about Geometry & Measurement, Fractions & Percents, or Division. 
• We are beginning our study on the Industrial Revolution, Westward Expansion, and Immigration.  It was an exciting time in our country's history as many people were moving in and ideas were exploding!
