Thanks so much for all of the parent support to put together our Mexican fiesta!  I'm glad that so many of you were able to attend.  If not, I took some great photos.

The year is winding down, and I have some announcements and reminders so that you can help me begin closure in the classroom.
•       All library books are due Tuesday, May 1^st!
•       The last day for Reading Stars check-out will be Mon., May 14 & Tues., May 15.  This will give me time to collect the books and check our inventory.
•       The last day for literacy volunteers is Thursday, May 17th.  Although, I could still use volunteer help the last week of school.  Please let me know if you are interested.  Also, I will still need math volunteers the last week of school.
•       The last reading incentive is due on Thursday, May 17th. Send back your child's May minutes sheet totaled! Any student who has read for 300 minutes will be included in our reading celebration.  Students who read for 750 minutes or more will be able to eat lunch in the classroom!

•       Fri., May 18 Mexican Market Homework Due
•       Mon., May 21  8:45-9:15 Mexican Market in the cafeteria
•       Wed. May 23 1:45-2:15 Root Beer Float Party for First Graders-  I will send a follow-up e-mail requesting help and donations.
•       Thursday, May 24 10:50- 11:25 Last day of school! School Picnic at Community Park-  Bring a lunch!

• Mexican Market Homework (long term project that will take 3 weeks)- Due May 18
