Location:
Maun, Botswana

Background:
I just had the best shower of my whole life!!!! I returned with another researcher to the town of Maun after 10 days in the field. I can't wait to tell you about all the fieldwork we've been doing on the soils of the Kalahari. We've taken some great videos of the work we're doing, which I will try to post here as soon as I can get ahold of the right technology.

Situation:
I've got a day to relax here in Maun before going to work at Maun Secondary School. They have an agriculture program there and they would like for me to teach a lesson on a topic that has had a "dramatic impact on agriculture in the United States in the last 25 years." I have no ideas what I'll teach about- any suggestions?
