4th Grade

Brian Geraghty has been teaching fourth grade for 11 years in Boulder Valley School District and has been at Aspen Creek since the school opened.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Notre Dame, and his Teaching Certification and his Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  He enjoys coaching numerous sports for Middle School students at Aspen Creek, including soccer, wrestling, track, basketball, volleyball, and flag football.  He also coaches his son’s hockey team in the evenings and on the weekends, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys.

I have been teaching upper elementary since 2003 after moving from South Dakota where I spent most of my life. I'm excited to work with a wonderful team at Aspen Creek and consider myself very lucky to have the parents and students I do. I enjoy reading novels that spark intense debates with my students as well as finding new and exciting ways to teach math and writing.

I have been teaching for 14 years.  Seven of my 13 years have been spent at Aspen Creek. I got my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I became a teacher because of my love for learning and I want to spread my passion for learning with others.
