The power of music and words unites the Bear Creek community in our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration. Students celebrate each other’s differences and strive to carry on the prevailing message of equality and peace for all people.
From a kindergartner constructing a colorful paper sculpture to a fifth grade embossing a dragon in metal, the art room is a magical place where students use different mediums to express their individual creativity.
Participation in Bear Creek's Spotlights is for those students who enjoy singing, dancing, drama, and instrument playing. We hope to provide students with a fun and exciting opportunity in which they can share their many talents!
Through this fun two lap, half mile cross country course on the Bear Creek grass field, we become aware of and improve our fitness levels, maintain healthy lifestyles, learn how to set goals, encourage others, and feel great about our effort and achievement.
Bear Creek parents & staff encourage the Sciences at our Super Science Night. Students learn hands on by using telescopes to see stars and galaxies, how spacecraft are exploring Earth, learn about black holes and make their own space fuel.

We are going to try again..... The Bear Creek picnic has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 2nd at 5:30pm. Join us for a fun, casual event for students and their families to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Bring your own picnic dinner, a blanket and lawn chairs (grass may be soggy), frisbees or soccer balls, and meet us on the large playground!! Popsicles provided by the BCPTO. See you there.
VanGogh photography will be here at Bear Creek on Monday, September 8th to take individual and class pictures. Picture order forms were included in the PTO packet you received at registration. There are additional order forms outside the office in the vertical file. Remember to bring your smile!

The staff is looking forward to the evening of Thursday, September 11th and encourages you to attend Back To School Night. Since this evening is scheduled as a parents only night, please make other arrangements for your child(ren). The evening is planned for you as follows:
K and 1 Classroom Session: 5:00-5:40pm
2 and 3 Classroom Session: 5:45-6:25pm
4 and 5 Classroom Session: 6:30-7:10pm
You are also invited to drop by the gym between 5:30-6:40pm to say hello to Mrs. Wright (Art), Mr Soole (PE), Mrs. james (Music), and Mrs. Brockway (Library).
The Bear Creek Carnival will be Thursday, September 18th from 4:00-6:30 pm. Games, crafts, food trucks and activities for the whole family! Hosted by the Bear Creek 5th grade class. $8 per child, adults are free.
Kindergarten enrollment and Kindergarten Enrichment enrollment are now open. Please follow the attached links for more information.
The YMCA of Boulder County provides before and afterschool care and summer camps using the facilities here at Bear Creek. More information can be found under "About Us" in the drop down menu.
