The power of music and words unites the Bear Creek community in our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration. Students celebrate each other’s differences and strive to carry on the prevailing message of equality and peace for all people.
This summer, the Board of Education approved the Educational Facilities Master Plan and a resolution placing a question on the November 2014 ballot asking voters to fund $576M in improvements for all schools.
From a kindergartner constructing a colorful paper sculpture to a fifth grade embossing a dragon in metal, the art room is a magical place where students use different mediums to express their individual creativity.
Bear Creek parents & staff encourage the Sciences at our Super Science Night. Students learn hands on by using telescopes to see stars and galaxies, how spacecraft are exploring Earth, learn about black holes and make their own space fuel.
Participation in Bear Creek's Spotlights is for those students who enjoy singing, dancing, drama, and instrument playing. We hope to provide students with a fun and exciting opportunity in which they can share their many talents!

On Monday, November 30th, the annual vision and hearing screening
tests are being held at Bear Creek in accordance with state statute. They
are performed in elementary school on kindergarten, 1,2,3, and 5th graders; those new to
the district; special education students and those where there is current
vision or hearing concern. These tests are conducted under the
supervision of the School Nurse Consultant by the vision and hearing screening
teams. A parent or guardian may submit an exemption from screening testing for his or her child.
Exemption forms must be returned to the Bear Creek office by November 30th.

Open Enrollment Open Houses Tour Dates for the 2016-2017 school year are as follows: December 4 @ 9:30, December 15 @ 1:30, and January 14 @ 9:30 Please call the office to reserve a spot @ 720.561.3500 or register online here. There will be a tour of the building by a parent volunteer followed by a Q & A session with the Principal.

The YMCA of Boulder County provides before and afterschool care and summer camps using the facilities here at Bear Creek. More information can be found under "About Us" in the drop down menu.
