The power of music and words unites the Bear Creek community in our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration. Students celebrate each other’s differences and strive to carry on the prevailing message of equality and peace for all people.
This summer, the Board of Education approved the Educational Facilities Master Plan and a resolution placing a question on the November 2014 ballot asking voters to fund $576M in improvements for all schools.
From a kindergartner constructing a colorful paper sculpture to a fifth grade embossing a dragon in metal, the art room is a magical place where students use different mediums to express their individual creativity.
Bear Creek parents & staff encourage the Sciences at our Super Science Night. Students learn hands on by using telescopes to see stars and galaxies, how spacecraft are exploring Earth, learn about black holes and make their own space fuel.
Participation in Bear Creek's Spotlights is for those students who enjoy singing, dancing, drama, and instrument playing. We hope to provide students with a fun and exciting opportunity in which they can share their many talents!

Bear Creek will be
hosting a Super Duper (We-Mean-Interactive) Science Night on Wednesday, October
29th from 6-8PM. Some of the
activities will include Lego Robotics, Physics Experiments, Telescopes and
Microscopes, and if we’re lucky, maybe even an Interferometer. And let’s not forget the movie “The Power of
Ten”. Come and be a participant in a
great evening of hands on exploration.

The YMCA of Boulder County provides before and afterschool care and summer camps using the facilities here at Bear Creek. More information can be found under "About Us" in the drop down menu.
