TAG
About 5% of the Bear Creek student body is identified as eligible to recieve TAG services-- that is, programs that are qualitatively different than the programs available to peers. To determine eligibility, the Tag coordinator uses criteria such as aptitude tests, achievement assessments, inventories, parent observations, and teacher observations. TAG programming is then designed and implemented to meet individual student needs.
The classroom teacher is the primary provider of advanced academic services; students whose needs are not met in the regular classroom may be eligible for additional services.
