Goals and Objectives
The philosophy of the World Language Department at Centaurus is based upon the premise that language and communication are essential to the cultural understanding needed to function in today’s global society. Our classrooms focus on communication in another language, using the second language to learn, to communicate and to enter another culture.
Centaurus is an International Baccalaureate World School with a strong focus on international perspectives of learning and teaching. Because Centaurus also offers an Advanced Placement curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Diploma curriculum so that students are able to study French and Spanish from beginning levels through earning valuable college credits.
