The Learning Services Team at Coal Creek consists of highly trained specialists working together to meet the needs of children requiring additional support beyond the realm of the regular classroom environment. Special services offered include:
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech / Language Therapy
- Social Skills and Emotional Support
- Psychological Testing
- Targeted instruction from resource staff for children who have an identified learning disability or other handicapping condition, such as autism
- Literacy and math support
Coal Creek follows federal law and BVSD policy germane to the Response to Intervention (RtI) model. For additional information regarding evaluation and the RtI process, please contact the principal.
