Coal Creek is located in Louisville, Colorado. The City of Louisville has often been recognized for its livability. Money Magazine named Louisville #1 in its 2011 "Best Place to Live" issue!
This summer, the Board of Education approved the Educational Facilities Master Plan and a resolution placing a question on the November 2014 ballot asking voters to fund $576M in improvements for all schools.
Coal Creek Elementary was named as a "Colorado School of Excellence" in 2014, receiving the John Irwin Award.
Coal Creek teachers are dedicated to helping our students develop strong problem solving and create thinking skills, referred to as "Habits of Mind."
The PUMA is our school's mascot; silver and blue are the school colors. We follow the acronym "Coal Creek ROCKS!" Respect, Owning behavior, Cooperation, Kindness, and Safety.
Parents play a critical role in our school, dedicating hundreds of volunteer hours to ensuring that we continue to create an OUTSTANDING learning environment for children.
Parents can start arriving at 1PM. The Parade will begin promptly at 1:15PM immediately followed by parties in the classrooms.
BVSD's Open Enrollment Window is 12/1/14-1/16/15.
Coal Creek will be hosting tours on December 3rd at 9AM and January 14th at 9AM. No appointment is necessary for these tours.
