There are many opportunities to support the Coal Creek PTA. Those listed below are programs designed by companies, both local and national, to support the education and development of our children. Many of those listed require minimal effort on the part of families, yet in turn yield great returns to us. Please browse the offerings, learn how to maximize contributions to our PTA and help us create a great place of learning for our children.

  • General Mill's Boxtops for Education

    • Clip Boxtops from  participating products . Check for a valid expiration date and bring them to school. There is a box in the foyer as well as in each classroom in order to drop these off. Each Boxtop is worth $0.10.
    • Shop online using the Boxtops Marketplace, retailers, such as Gap, Best Buy, and Target, and earn up to 15% for our school.
    • Buy books online through the Reading Room and earn up to 6% for our school

  • Campbell's Labels for Education

    • For more than 30 years, Labels for Education has been awarding free educational equipment to schools in exchange for proofs of purchase from the Campbell family of brands. It’s a fun, easy program where students, families and members of the community work together for a common goal.
    • Clip the UPC codes from eligible products. If the UPC codes indicates it is worth 5 points, be sure to keep that information at well. Bring the clipped UPC codes into school. There is a box in the foyer as well as in each classroom in order to drop these off.

  • Cell Phone Recycling
    • We have the opportunity to use postage-free mail to turn used cell phones in for cash for our school.  You can turn in any brand, age, style, or condition of phone.  Once at least 50 phones have been donated we can mail them in.  With all the new-every-two cell phone plans, we should be able to reach 50 phones in a very short time!  Just send the phones in with your child, every classroom has a donation drop box they can leave the phones in.

  • King Sooper's Reloadable Gift Cards
    • A $5.00 purchase gets you started. Purchase a King Sooper's Gift Card loaded with $5.00, for $5.00, from the PTA. Bring your card to any King Soopers cash register or to the service desk and load any amount onto it -- you may use check, cash, or credit card to do so. Use your loaded gift card for your King Sooper's purchases. Coal Creek PTA will receive 5% of all dollars loaded onto the gift cards. Once your card is empty, reload with additional money and Coal Creek PTA will continue to benefit.

 

  • Target's Take Charge of Education
  • Take Charge of Education logo
    • When you use your REDcardSM (Target® Visa® Credit Card, Target Credit Card® or Target Check Card®),  Target will donate up to 1% of your purchases to the eligible K–12 school of your choice. Here’s how it works: Visit Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school, then use your REDcard whenever you shop.
    • Grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors are all welcome to participate in the program. The more people we involve, the harder the program works for our school.
