January 19th, please sign up for conferences in the front foyer if you receive a conference request letter from your child's teacher or would like a conference either way.

1/11 Community Service Project
All month, January 11th, through the 29th, we will be collecting money for SEVA (to benefit Native American youth). Please bring in your coins!
 
1/13 Native American reports and projects due
When:  January 13th
We will share these in class, along with the projects.
  
JOG-A-THON POSTPONED
Coal Creek Jog-a-thon has been postponed for a week due to air quality issues from the fire.
 
It has been rescheduled for September 15th, for third grade 10:20- 11:00.  See you there if you can make it!
 
Salt and flour maps
Please let Mrs. Baumgartner know if you are interested in being part of our messy project on the afternoon of Sept. 15th. The time is approximately 1:00-2:00. Thank you.
  
Conferences
Parent conferences are September 28th, 29th, and October 4th.  Please be sure you have signed up in front foyer.
This is usally for parents only unless you request that your student be present ahead of time.
 
Reading assessments
DRA2 reading assessments will be held on September 16th and 17th according to the schedule that you signed your child up for.  Remember that the following Monday is a teacher professional day with no school.
  
Jog-a-thon reward party
Congratulations! We will be going to the Louisville rec center on Friday afternoon, October 15th for a swim party!  Please return the permission slip.
