Before earning my teaching certification in May 2009, I was a substitute teacher for five and a half years in both Denver Public Schools and BVSD. Before that, I worked in public relations and advocacy for a variety of national, regional and state nonprofit organizations. For example, I did PR for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Throughout it all, I’ve had a passion for children’s issues and education. I completed my Master’s in Educational Psychology at the University of Colorado at Denver last summer. I am enjoying working with your children this year in an exciting year of learning, growing, creating and becoming.
