When Crest View students are in 5th grade they have the opportunity to play a musical instrument as part of their school curriculum. The students select a band or orchestra instrument based on their own preference, with the assistance of instructors. Two times a week, during the school day, the 5th grade students meet for Orchestra or Band. Students can rent or purchase their instruments, scholarships are available.

Once each semester the students put on a concert for their parents and family members where they get to show off all that they have learned.
