Welcome to Mrs. Vance's First Grade at Crest View Elementary.

First grade is an exciting and critical year for your child, and I am excited to teach, learn, grow, challenge, and achieve with my first grade family. We will explore Mexico and Japan. We study balance and motion, plants and earth materials in science. We will also do several thematic and integrated units and mini-units based on literature.  These units strongly incorporate various subject matters, such as math, art, handwriting, and science. Again, welcome to first grade and I look forward to a fabulous year!
