Welcome to 4th Grade!!
 
Hello, I am excited to be your child's teacher for their 4th grade year. Our classroom is located in room 214, near the gym and music rooms. All the grades are special but I feel 4th grade is extra special. This year is often referred to as the Golden Year. Your child will show tremendous growth this year, socially, emotionally, and academically.

If you help with our class parties please try to make all items be compostable (and healthy). The amount of trash generated from class parties is amazing - in fact take a look at our school trash dumpsters after school parties and you'll see a mountain of  trash.
Let me know if you can wash our hand towels and take our classroom compost. The towels and 1 or 2 bags of compost go home on Fridays. The towels should be returned on Mondays. Thank You!

My class has played Simple Gifts for twice a day on the recorders for almost 15 years. Playing music and singing are great ways to greet (and dismiss) the children and help them focus for the upcoming school day.
