Bring your gently used books to Douglass Library for credit between now and Friday, Feb. 27th. Make sure to include student’s full name, teacher, and total number of books. Please no workbooks, coloring books, or toys. On March 3, 4, and 5 students will have the opportunity to exchange their credit for other used books. In the spirit of "Leader in Me," student leaders will help with the Book Exchange. If your child is interested, please have him/her fill out an application and submit it to Mrs. Chynoweth by Feb.27.
The book exchange is a great way to read "new to you" titles and help the environment at the same time. Expand your mind without expanding a landfill.
Please support these generous businesses that support our school.
Douglass’ PTO is a parent volunteer group whose primary goal is to support the well-rounded education of children in Douglass Elementary School. We accomplish this through successful fundraising and volunteer recruitment; enrichment programs; and community events.
