
What should I do if my child will not be at school?
Parents are asked to inform the school when one of their children is going to be absent. We will not be calling unless there is a reason for concern. Following are suggestions that may be helpful.
1. Anticipated absences: Send a written excuse to the child's teacher prior to an anticipated absence or extended tardiness. (Examples: Early morning dentist/doctor appointment or family going out of town.) Please give details of time, dates included, and reason for absence.
2. Unanticipated absences: such as illness or injury:

Parents are asked to inform the school when their child is going to be absent by calling 720-561-8502 or 720-561-8500. A secretary will be available to take calls starting at 7:00 a.m. Please call before 8:30 a.m.
You may leave information regarding a student absence on Voice Mail between 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. You may send a written excuse with a sibling whose teacher will forward it to the office.
