Brian Tate, who is excited to teach the Flatirons Club again, will lead the A Group in the library.  Brian has over 12 years of study and over 6 years of teaching chess to kids.  Founder of Wiz Kids, Brian has developed an in-depth lesson plan that the older/more advanced students will cover over the weeks.  He enjoys teaching kids important life lessons through the study of chess, while they naturally learn the life skills to help them succeed! Adam Masek, a life-long chess player, whose primary occupation is teaching chess.  Adam is at least as good as Brian over the board, and loves teaching the game!  He will lead the B Group.  Always studying more chess books, Adam has a storehouse of knowledge and a deep level of insight into the game.  We are sure his undying passion for chess will rub off on the kids!

Chess Club Information  - Chess Club is full for the 2011-2012 School Year  CHESS CLUB REGISTRATION STARTS MONDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2011  (Grades 1-5) Chess Club registration will start on Monday, October 10th.  Registration Forms will be available first thing Monday morning on the table in the front hallway.  This popular club fills fast and we do not hold spots.  There are 22 spots to fill on a first come first pay basis.
