Enrichment programs and extracurricular activities are generally offered by Foothill staff or parent volunteers. Programs that require a fee are noted. The following are examples of activities that are typically offered; availability in a given year often depends upon the enthusiasm of parent volunteers.

Fox Tracks TRansportation Alternatives to Cars for Kids. Fox Tracks combines the Boltage (frequent biker/walker) program with the Foothill bus riders. Fox Tracks lowers our environmental impact and teaches important safety and health habits to our students. The reduction of congestion around the school increases the safety of all Foothill families. Walkers and bikers pick up (or use last year’s) Boltage tag at school (during back-to-school distribution times or in the office) and register at www.Boltage.org. Students ring in at the Zap meter by the bike racks at the K-playground each morning that they bike/walk. Bus riders register by sending an email to foxtracks.bus@gmail.com ; you will receive an email every week requesting your child’s bus ridership participation. Bus riders do not need tags and do not use the Zap meter. Silicone Wristbands will be given as incentives for all students who walk, bike or bus to school. Contact BlairNorman@mac.com for more information.
Science Fair is open to all Foothill students in grades 1-5. The non-competitive Fair is conducted in February.
