The SAC committee is responsible for developing and approving the annual School Improvement Plan (SIP), approving the annual budget, and addressing issues related to achievement, equity and school safety throughout the year.

SAC Schedule of Activites

August & September: Review CSAP Growth and Achievement Scores using the TIES process to identify areas needing attention in the coming years. Also review data from surveys from parents, staff and students regarding school safety and overall satisfaction.

September, October November: Develop and complete a School Improvement Plan (SIP). The SIP describes our goals in Achievement, Equity and School Safety.

September/October: Host a parent engagement meeting. The goal is to gain parent feedback on the SIP and listen to additional ideas and concerns from the parent community.

December: Deliver the first progress report to the BVSD district office about how we are doing on our goals.

February: Preliminary review of the budget.

March: Deliver second progress report to the district office.
