Preschool Program

The Heatherwood Preschool is designed to meet the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and language development needs of students utilizing developmentally appropriate classroom practices.  The teaching strategies employed in the preschool recognize that young children learn through active exploration and interactions with responsive adults, other children, and open-ended experiences which provide rich opportunities for learning - all in an active, fun, play-based environment.  The preschool classroom is staffed by a licensed Early Childhood Special Education Teacher and two paraprofessionals.    

Preschool serves children ages 3-5.  Children must be 3 or 4 by September 30th to enroll. 

Hours:

Our AM Session is from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM

Our PM session is from 11:45 AM until 2:30 PM
