Doughnuts with Dad
Come have a donut, coffee and juice with your dad, grandpa, uncle or other friend. It’s a great way to start the day. (The teachers love all the sugared up kids!) This is a popular event, so come early.
Pizza with Mr. O
Who doesn’t love a slice of pizza? Once a month on Fridays Mr. O has pizza with students in the cafeteria. It is a great time to talk to Mr. O and get to know him better.
Pancake Breakfast
Heatherwood Dads cook a pancake breakfast for the whole school. Come with your family and enjoy a yummy Sunday pancake breakfast.
Join Your Child For Lunch
Calling all moms and dads! Join your children for lunch in the cafeteria and come see what lunch time is all about. Then you can go and browse the Scholastic Book Fair and purchase some new books.
Movie Night
What better way to enjoy a movie than “Under the Stars”. Bring your blankets and chairs and watch a fun movie, enjoy some popcorn and soda with all your friends from Heatherwood. Warm weather optional!
Muffins with Mom
Bring your mom or grandmom, aunt, or just a friend to Heatherwood before school to enjoy a big muffin from Mimi’s Bakery. Come say hi to all your friends and start your day off on a fun foot.
Bead with Abandon
Our own Heatherwood Mom Nancy Whiteman hosts a fun night of beading. Create one of a kind beaded jewelry with all your Heatherwood friends.
Holiday Bazaar
It’s that time of year again to buy presents for everyone on your holiday list. Heatherwood hosts a holiday bazaar with custom-made or one-of-a-kind unique products sold by other Heatherwood families and friends.
Holiday Cookie Exchange
Come exchange holiday cookies with other Heatherwood bakers. Take home as many as you bring! We also provide a basket for fresh baked cookies for all our terrific teachers.
Bingo Night
What a fun night as you try to get BINGO in as a many different configurations as the teachers can come up with. This is no ordinary Bingo night. Fun-filled and fast-paced Bingo Extravaganza! Lots of prizes!
Science Fair Dinner
Yummy! Enjoy dinner with all your Heatherwood friends and then go and explore the Science Fair. Who knows you might just be a Science Fair winner!
Learning Fair Ice Cream Social
Ice Cream Social for one and all! Attend the Heatherwood learning Fair and learn all there is to know about a variety of student’s favorite topics. Then just when you thought it could not get any more fun… have some Ice Cream.
Heather Heatherwood
Heatherwood’s own 1 mile fun run modeled after the Bolder Boulder. Run like you’ve never run before and make your own “ personal best” race time as you race around Heatherwood with all your buddies! Moms and Dads welcome! We invite all incoming fall kindergarten families to join us.
