Sarah Oswick

I am Sarah Oswick, and I love being the Assistant Principal at Monarch K-8. I appreciate the caring community, the fantastic staff and the amazing students! 

This is my third year at Monarch K-8. Prior to that, I taught kindergarten, first grade and was a K-5 librarian.  This is my sixth year in the Boulder Valley School District and, before that, I taught in a small private school in Broomfield. 

This is my eighth year in Colorado, and I live in Golden with my husband, Pierce.  One fascinating fact about us is that we are high school sweethearts!  We both grew up south of Cleveland, Ohio.  Since college, we have lived on both coasts, Seattle, WA, and Philadelphia, PA.  Even with some great places to compare quality of life, we think Colorado has it all!  We love the great outdoors… hiking, camping, skiing and canoeing.  

I believe that Monarch K-8 is a wonderful place where respect is of paramount importance and safety is always first.  Thanks to everyone for making Monarch K-8 the great place that it is!
