Wednesday, January 9th, 6:30pm - An additional date was added due to a conflict with Fireside Elementary and Eldorado K-8 evening events on December 6th.

Students are encouraged to attend.

Enrollment of students new to Monarch K-8

Begin the enrollment process online at the BVSD Student Enrollment Online.

Monarch K-8 is a neighborhood school. The definitive tool for determining your neighborhood school is the BVSD School Locator.
To be admitted to kindergarten in BVSD, a child must turn five years old on or before September 30th.

After completing the online registration, bring the following to the Monarch K-8 office:

Signed receipt pages from the online enrollment system
Birth certificate or passport
Immunization records
Current proof of residency (water, electricity, heating bill or lease agreement)

Preschool
Monarch K-8 houses a preschool program for 3 & 4 year olds. Classes are half-day, Tuesday through Friday, and follow BVSD's school-year calendar. For more information and to register, visit the BVSD Preschool Program website.

Kindergarten Enrichment Registration
Kindergarten Enrichment (KE) is a fee-based program that compliments our Kindergarten program. Registration for Kindergarten Enrichment is a separate online process. For more information and to register, visit the Kindergarten Enrichment website.

Open Enrollment

If you reside outside of our attendance area, you may apply to Monarch K-8 through the Open Enrollment Process. For more information visit the BVSD Open Enrollment website.

Open Enrollment students are accepted on a space-available basis
