Platt Needs Volunteers: Library
Platt is looking for volunteers to work in the Library everyday during 7th period this year. Currently the library closes down during this time because our librarian, Cheyne Keith, is teaching a class. With budget cuts and staff stretched thin, this is a new situation for the Platt Library this year. In order for students and classes to use the library 7th period, we need to have some parent volunteers. Mr. Keith would also like to see if we had one fantastic parent who would be the coordinator of the library volunteers. So much of his time would be better spent with the kids if we could take this task off his plate. Tues. and Friday 7th period from 2:45 – 3:40 and on block Thursday would be 2:15 – 3:40.
