Bob Nihan -  5th Grade

Grade level experience:
I've been at Ryan my entire teaching career. I taught 3rd grade two years,
4th grade nine years, and 2nd grade nine years. This is my first year teaching 5th grade.

Universities/colleges attended and degrees conferred:
I have a B.S. in Marketing from Northern Illinois University (1978),
a State of Colorado Elementary Teacher Credential from the University of Colorado,
Boulder (1985), and a Master's of Education from Regis University in Denver (1995).

Favorite things about working at Ryan:
My favorite thing is being on the same staff as my wife Amy who teaches 4th grade.
My second favorite thing is being a part of the Ryan community. The kids and their families,
as well as the people on our staff all make working here a great experience.

Hobbies, interests, personal info:
I love to read fiction of all types. Amy and I have a cat and dog,
both of whom keep us active and entertained! A hobby of mine is collecting sports
memorabilia, especially anything to do with Cal Ripken, Jr.
