Welcome to Summit Middle School’s Open Enrollment Information Page!
Enrollment at Summit
Summit is a public charter school, not a neighborhood school, which means that students who wish to attend must first apply to come here. Living near the school does not give your student an enrollment advantage but living in the Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) does give a student preference in the lottery. Students who would like to enroll at Summit Middle School need to participate in BVSD’s Open Enrollment (OE) process. Click here for more:

Information Events and Tours
Parent/Student Information Nights offer an in-depth look at Summit, and we encourage you to bring your student. You will get a thorough introduction to the school and its mission, have an opportunity to ask questions and meet teachers from all departments; your student can participate in a gathering with our counselor and current Summit students. No reservation required, just pick the evening that fits best with your schedule.
Tours begin with a brief presentation that includes a school overview, followed by classroom visits. Reservations are required for tours – please contact the Summit office at 720-561-3900 with the names of those who would like to attend. Children need a reserved spot, too! Due to limited space, tours are limited to 5th grade students and parents.
