Preschool

University Hill Elementary provides on-site dual-language preschool programs in our small building (889 17th Street). The preschools are multicultural communities that respect and celebrate diversity and foster language development in two languages. Half of the children in the preschool are native Spanish-speakers and half are native English-speakers. There are approximately 15 students in a class served by a bilingual teacher and assistant.

The preschool programs run morning and afternoon sessions Tuesday through Friday. The program accepts 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds.

The Colorado Preschool Program, which offers this high-quality program, charges reasonable tuition fees and provides scholarships for eligible children.
