PTA Welcome

The PTA is working hard this year already. Our first meeting is Sept. 11th from 6-7:30pm in the library. We invite and encourage every parent and staff member to get involved. We are looking for volunteers to fill committee chair positions and also help with the many events, activities and fundraisers the PTA puts on through the year.

Back To School Night is scheduled for August 30th starting at 6pm. We are looking for volunteers that can bring a dessert for the evening. If you can help provide some snacks, please contact Debbie Quinn at either 720-839-1248 or rockymtnbrat@hotmail.com. Desserts need to be dropped off in the cafeteria when you arrive.

Welcome packets will be coming home soon in your child's Friday folders. In these packets, you will find volunteer forms, information about Groceries + and our first fundraiser of the year. The Check Writing Campaign kicks off the year and inside the packet you will find a donation letter and the 07-08 Wish List. Please take a moment and read through everything and see where you can help out.

Room parents are needed for each classroom. These parents play an important role in helping the teachers with their classrooms. They also play an important role in communicating between the school and the PTA. We have several activities this year in which we need this communication. If interested in participating as a room parent, please see your child's teacher or contact Marla Joy Leonard at 720-352-5970.

The PTA is in the process of updating our section on the Ryan website (www.ryanelementary.org) so please check back to see the latest updates. Also on the website, you will find a link to subscribe to the PTA's google listserve. The PTA uses the google group to keep parents and staff updated on what is going on throughout the year. This listserve is different than the school's so please be sure to sign up.
