Amy Nihan - Fourth
Grade Teacher
Experience: I student taught here at
Ryan the first year it opened. I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and am looking
forward to teaching 2nd grade in the fall of 2008.
Education: I graduated with a degree in
Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 1984 and
have a Masters in Administration from UNC as well. I enjoy learning new
things and recently completed the Advantage Math class.
Favorite Thing about Ryan: The kids,
families, and staff…EVERYTHING!
Goal: To help children learn, solve
problems and believe in themselves.
Tidbits: I’ve gone to Boulder Valley
Schools since 2nd grade. I graduated from Fairview High School in 1980. I
met my husband, Bob Nihan, here at Ryan in 1985. I enjoy spending time with
my husband, my cat and dog, and also my family and friends. In my free time
I love to hike, travel and bake!
