Years at Ryan and grade levels taught: Since 2000, varies yearly among
grades 1-5
Years as an educator in other schools and assignments: "Since high
school tutored various children and adults in math . Homeschooled our children
until our daughter was ready for middle school, then enrolled both into BVSD.
Helped with my son's middle school math classes. Taught TAG math at Pioneer
Elementary concurrently from 2001-2006. "
University/colleges attended and degrees conferred: University of
Redlands, CA; BS in chemistry.
Goal for the year: To stretch students in math while having fun and
showing its relevance.
Hobbies and Interests: "Travels in recent years have been primarily
for our children's competitions, diving meets for our daughter and assorted
academic competitions or chess tournaments for our son."
