Year started at Ryan: 1995

Other related work experience: 5 years at Crestview Elementary, 4 years at Mesa School in Colorado Springs, 4 years at Episcopal Center for Children in Silver Spring , MD and 6 years as a teacher of experiential education for Outward Bound and related programs all across the United States.

Experience at what grade levels:  30 years experience in special education from preschool to fifth grade.

Schools attended:   Masters in Special Education from Hunter College in N.Y.C. and a B.S. in Biology from UC Boulder.

Favorite thing about working at Ryan: Diversity of students and the dedication of the staff.

A goal for the year:  To increase student learning through science –literacy connections.
