Favorite Part of Ryan: I love being a part of this great learning
environment. There is a real commitment to working hard and being respectful.
I appreciate all the support from the families I work with in the classroom.
Personal Teaching Philosophy: I believe that children learn best
through an integrated hands-on approach. I teach with an emphasis on
experiential learning combined with art, movement, drama and imagination to
bring out the potential for success from each student. Each student is
respected, challenged, encouraged, and motivated to learn.
Hobbies/Interests: I love to be outdoors doing anything physical.
I particularly LOVE hiking, skiing, biking, and snowshoeing. I also enjoy
yoga, reading, music, and drawing. I take art and drumming lessons. I spend
most of my weekends in Vail with my husband. We have 3 daughters. The twins
are in college and the oldest lives in New York City.
