Maureen Keeney (a.k.a. "Mo") -

Years at Ryan:
Since 2000. We have been active parents since
our 8th grade daughter, Erin, started Kindergarten.
Other related work experiences:
I started at Ryan as a Reading Partner and loved it! It was fun
being part of the fabric of the school and getting to know all the kids. When
some time opened up in the office, I decided to try putting my office skills
back to good use. I had lots of fun learning new systems and working with
Sandi, Ronda and Julie. I worked in various office settings, including Adolph
Coors Company, to put myself through college.
Schools/colleges attended:
A PROUD Ram fan I am! I graduated from Colorado State University with a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Technology.
Favorite thing about working at Ryan:
Everything! The people, the kids, the families, the different cultures
represented within our school, the lunch bunch get-togethers........
A goal for the year:
To understand all of the multiple facets of being a principal's secretary
and how to do them well!
Hobbies: I
love to read, ride horses and garden. We spend time as a family skiing in the
winter. I would love to pick up my long lost love of drawing and painting.
An interesting tidbit that you want to share.
My husband gave me the best gift last year! It was a book entitled
"The Kite Runner". It is a fabulous book and I have given it to all of my
friends as gifts or to read. I liken it to Dr. Zhivago! Pick it up or ask me
to borrow my copy -- you won't regret it!
