Jay Shah - CU Science Fellow
I am currently in the second year of my master’s program in Environmental
Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I received my
undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from CU as well and grew up
mostly in Arvada, Colorado. Prior to returning to CU for graduate school, I
worked for two years in Central Oregon at a small company doing pharmaceutical
research. I also served for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer where I
taught Mathematics, English, and Creative Arts in third through sixth grade in
a small town but large school in Eastern Nepal. In my spare time, I enjoy
cycling, reading, drawing, and traveling
