Years as an educator in other schools and assignments: 3 years in a private school, K-4, 7 years in a BVSD Middle School, Choir, Drama and Health and now going on the 6th year at Ryan

University/colleges attended and degrees conferred: BME from University of Colorado, Boulder. Completed a Masters of Music Education from CSU in December 2006

Personal Teaching Philosophy: I believe that music is an integral part of life...found in many places. My emphasis is on singing and building musical literacy through the use of many activities such as singing, instrument playing, games, reading, listening, observing, and moving.

Hobbies, interests, personal info: I Enjoy reading, baking and hiking
