International Walk to School Day
Wednesday, October 3, 2007 is International Walk to School Day! By simply riding
a bike or walking to school, each student will receive a bike reflector donated
by Exempla Hospital, a Cliff Z Bar donated by Cliff Bar, Inc. and a temporary
tattoo.
We also have some helmets from Exempla that we can give to students in need.
Please contact Karen Hunt at asrhunt@msn.com. Please include your child’s name,
age and teacher.
Meeting Places
Parents, feel free to meet at these locations. We will have an adult at these
locations to point the way so your children can be on trails and not on the
streets:
• Coal Creek Trail at Highway 42 at Aquarius Park, west of cemetery Meet at
7:40AM to bike or 7:30AM to walk. (Adult volunteer needed for walk only.)
• If you drive your child to school, go to 4-way stop sign at Centaur Village
Drive, turn left, take first right and drive to the dead end. We will meet at
7:40AM to walk the Coal Creek Trail to school.
Please join us in walking or biking to school on October 3rd!
