I am a California native, born in San Diego.  Since my parents are originally from New Jersey, they decided to move back east to be closer to family.  Because of their decision, I spent most of my life growing up in northern New Jersey. 

I moved to Burlington, Vermont to attend the University of Vermont where I majored in Elementary Education and minored in Psychology.  While living in Vermont I had the opportunity to teach Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade.  I graduated from UVM with a Bachelor of Science in Education. 

After college I moved back to New Jersey where I taught 5th grade for a year and then 4th grade the next year.  By the time I was ready to leave New Jersey, I had taught in every elementary grade level!

After many years of planning, I have moved to Boulder, Colorado where I am thoroughly enjoying my new life.  I absolutely love mountains and am so happy that my new home has a great view of the Flatirons! 

I am very excited to be teaching in a wonderful school like Superior Elementary and to finally be living back out west in Colorado!  I’m looking forward to an outstanding and exciting school year with my 4th graders.
